Funds raised through programs like School & Youth enable the discovery and delivery of therapies that improve the quality of life for patients. From 2000 through 2013, almost 40 percent of new anti-cancer drugs were FDA-approved for blood cancer patients -- more first-ever approvals than for any other group of cancers -- and many of these were advanced with funding from LLS.
