    Poetry.org  This is a resource website for poetry and poets. Find out about the history, meaning and types of poetry, as well as terms commonly used while reading and studying poetry.  
     
    Poetry Foundation Locate poems, poets, news about poetry, articles and book reviews. Search for poems by many famous poets.  
     
    Poetry Soup  This website features a collection of poems and poetry. They are written by both famous and amateur poets. Free poetry contests are also featured. 
     
    Poets.org The Academy of American Poets is the biggest member-based nonprofit organization promoting an appreciation for contemporary poetry and supporting American poets.

    Click on the "Online Databases" link on the Seaford Middle School Library website. See Mrs. Golub for username and password information. Britannica Encyclopedia Online School Edition and World Book Online may also be helpful online databases to use for this research project.
