    This is a free online community where people from all around the world gather to debate online and read the opinions of others. Use this website to research today’s most controversial debate topics and vote on opinion polls. 
     
    Click on "debatabase" on the left hand side of the screen to search pros and cons on many controversial issues. Type in keywords to search or click to list topics by theme or click to view complete topic index.
     
    Goes to Thomas (legislative information on the internet). Type in your chosen issue. Information is given about bills currently being considered in the House and Senate.

    ONLINE SERVICES
    Click on the "Online Databases" link on the Seaford Middle School Library website. See Mrs. Golub for username and password information. It is the same username and password used to log onto the district computers. Use Issues and Controversies to look at the pros and cons of current and past issues. Over eight hundred topics are explored related to business, politics, government, education, popular culture and much more. Gale is also a helpful online database to use for this research project, especially Opposing Viewpoints in Context, which may be individually selected to search within Gale.
