Film History by Decade Created by the American Movie Classic Channel, this website chronicles the history of film by the decades of the 20th century.



History Timeline of the 20th Century A decade-by-decade timeline is presented with additional web links included.

Hyper History Online This website has a timeline format of each decade, people, or events with regard to science, culture, religion and politics.

The People History News, events, prices and popular culture in history from the 1800s to the present are featured.

The Roaring Twenties: A Historical Snapshot of Life in the 1920’s This website lists information about the culture of the 1920s.

Stock Market Crash of 1929 one of the most important events that later began the Great Depression in the 1930s.

20th and 21st Century America This is a very comprehensive educational site that was created by a Social Studies teacher with many links about the events of the 20th century.

20th Century Toys and Games Timeline lists some of the most popular games in chronological order of the 20th century.

U.S. History 1900-Present Includes highlights of major events that took place during different decades.

U.S. Timeline 2000-2009 has descriptions of historical events that happened these years in America.

Zoom Inventors and Inventions from 1901-1950 includes inventions from 1901-1950, which is the first half of the 20th century.
