Live Virtual Class 4
Monday 6/15:
Today we will have our last "live session" at 1:00 pm on Zoom. To wrap up this year, I have a contest for you. See if you can identify this painting. On a piece of paper please write your answer (big and dark enough to see on camera). Identify the Artist, Title and the museum it is in. ** Don't share your answers until I ask you to hold up your paper during the meeting. All winners will get a prize in September! Good luck.
Below is the link and password for our session:
Meeting ID: 980 1673 6523 (This meeting has ended. Have a great summer.)

SUMMER SKETCHBOOK 4
Thursday 6/11 & Friday 6/12:
Drawing #4: For your next drawing, you can pick the object (free choice). Please continue to draw throughout the summer. One or more drawing(s) a week would be great. Have a great summer! Have fun and I will see you in 8th grade. :) (FYI, we will have a Zoom meeting on Monday at 1pm if you want to stop in and say, "Hi.")
Remember: 1) Spend 20-30 minutes for each drawing. Take your time and really look at each object (the shapes and lines that it consists of.) Feel free to use value to shade in your drawings. 2) Do NOT use the back of other sketches or mistakes. 3) Sign and date each drawing.
-
SUMMER SKETCHBOOK 3
Tuesday 6/9 & Wednesday 6/10:
Drawing #3: For your next drawing, I would like to draw something outside. (ie. car, fire hydrant, shed, patio chair, etc.)

SUMMER SKETCHBOOK 2
Thursday 6/4 & Friday 6/5:
Drawing #2: For your next drawing, I would like to draw your non-drawing hand. Do NOT trace the outline of your hand!
* On Monday I would like you to consider showing us one of your drawings at our Virtual Zoom class (at 9:30am). Have a great weekend!

SUMMER SKETCHBOOK 1
Tuesday 6/2 & Wednesday 6/3:
Today I would like you to start a sketchbook that (I hope) you will continue to draw in throughout the summer. It would be great if you have an actual sketchbook to use. If not, you can use any kind of paper (preferably unlined) and save them all in a folder. Here are some helpful hints: 1) Spend 20-30 minutes for each drawing. Take your time and really look at each object (the shapes and lines that it consists of.) Feel free to use value to shade in your drawings. 2) Do NOT use the back of other sketches or mistakes. 3) Sign and date each drawing.
Drawing #1: Find some time over the next two days to sit, relax, and draw. For your first drawing, I would like to try and draw one of your shoes or sneaker.
