• Last year, the third graders learned about French Art Brut artist, Jean Dubuffet.
    Each student created a number of paintings using Dubuffet's trademark primary color scheme and white and black.
    They started with a composition of lines and patterns and then experimented with faces and figures using Dubuffet's primitive style.
    At least one of each student's work is displayed here in this oversized painted collage that measures 4 x 16 ft.
