• HOMEWORK


    Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Look for a homework assignment sheet in your child's homework folder each Monday.

    Homework Expectations:

    • Students should do their best on every assignment.
    • Homework is expected to be done neatly and on time.
    • Homework should be done in pencil.  However, illustrations should be done using crayons or colored pencils.

    WEEKLY HOMEWORK*

    • Reading - Read nightly!
    • Word Work - Assignments will be related to the Word Work concepts we are working on in class.
    • Trick Words - Trick Words are commonly used words that do not follow conventional spelling patterns, therefore these words must be memorized.  Several Trick Word practice assignments will be sent home each week.
    • Math - Math homework will be assigned nightly.  Complete the assignment, tear it out of the book, and return it to school the next day.
