• What is Jazz Band? 
    Jazz Band is an extra-curricular activity that meets after school from
    2:50 - 3:40 in the band room (133). We perform different styles of music such as swing, rock, latin and funk. 
     
    Who can join Jazz Band?
    Auditions are open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who play the following instruments:
    Alto sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Baritone Horn,
    Trombone, Trumpet, Drum Set, Piano, Guitar, Electric Bass
     
    Auditions will be held in September. Spaces are limited in each section. Details on the number of positions open will be given at first meeting.
     
    How do I get information about Jazz Band?
    An informational meeting will be held in September from 2:50-3:20 in the band room. All current members of jazz band and any new student wishing to become a member should attend this meeting.
